Transmission is a torrent client popular with Mac users. Its a simple, straight forward torrent client that manages nice speeds. I used utorrent when I had a pc, I chose Transmission as my client when I switched to a Mac and have never really missed utorrent myself. It's worth trying, I'd say.

I don't use torrents as much as I used to. But my HD just crashed, and lost all my stuff, so I guess it starts over. sighs
But I always leave the torrents to seed though, though sometimes, it gets kinda...crowded, so I delete a few of them that have queued seeding.

I've been a leecher for 2 years and only recently started seeding...so with that said I've probably leeched up to 1tb while seeding goes up to around 100gb though I have a ratio of 2.775 on boxtorrents

Thanks! Just downloaded it and tried it out and I really like it. Much less cluttered than Vuze and seems to take up less cpu.

Only 0.652 ratio. I generally seed as much as I can, but as I download rare or not pop thinks at most time, the fact is that sometimes, even if I seed a long time there's almost no one downloading.

I have the same shameful admission to make. xDD I remove everything as soon as my download is finished, because torrents drain my connection and everything else slows down in their favor.

Although both my download and upload speed via torrents can amaze me sometimes. I've even seen 12 MB/s on some torrents. o_O Albeit it only lasted for 20 seconds. xD So I upload a lot even while I'm still leeching as well.

uTorrent says I've downloaded 117 GB since the last time I installed it, and uploaded 58.6 GB. That gives me a ratio of 0.499 apparently.

Well, I've got a ratio of 4.809. Of course, this is mostly the fault of Izumo no Ryuu and their 4 volumes of Otogi Matsuri... with that torrent alone, I've uploaded to a ratio of 18.036.

My internet speed is too crappy to upload 🙁 so i have a ratio of .427 with 55.8 gb of games, anime and various other things downloaded. I try to seed but with a max upload speed of ~40kbps, its kinda bad... i blame my parents and AT&T

Still trying to get that 32gb of Ranma to 1.00 been seeding for 3 weeks now.

blakraven66, you may just need to give up on that particular torrent...if no one's dling, there's no way you can up your ratio. 😐

uTorrent says: 799 GB downloaded, 2.86 TB uploaded, ratio = 3.663

Sometimes I do quit seeding soon after the dl finishes, but mostly it takes me a while to get around to reading/watching and clearing stuff out & in the meantime I seed~
