Interesting topic.

No, um, maybe a tiny tiny tiny bit (I don't like pain). I'm more scared of getting old than dying actually.

I think I'm excited of what's going to happen after death. I don't believe in an afterlife, but that would be awesome... unless it's the proverbial hell that's waiting for me. But that would be interesting too, I guess.

same sentiments. then again, by the time we're old, there'll be metalloid suits we could put our brains into and sustain ourselves haha.

Well if I do happen to go at this exact moment, I wouldn't mind much but would regret not having been able to do some stuff since I'm still rather young.

I'm not scared of death itself, but there are ways I don't want to die.

  1. Getting hit by a bus a squirrel is driving.
  2. Slow painful torture.
  3. A big animal sitting on me.

To be alive means to die, it's inevitable and really not that big a deal.

There isn't anything scary about dying, I will simply smile and laugh when it's my time to go.

I'll just keep living life according to my own pace and enjoy it and welcome death when it comes.

Mind, no.
Instinct, yes.

I die, I disappear.

Maybe it's because I sitll have my life ahead of me, but I'm not scared. Of course, I don't believe in anything to be scared of. I think we're here and then we aren't. We're just gone, with only what we're done here as remembrants of us.

I'm not scared of dying. Of course, I would prefer to it to happen without very much pain, but I have no problem with the concept of death itself.

Uhmm... what else... I believe I'll just disappear, neither heaven nor hell or anything in between. No oddities.

Mind, no.
Instinct, yes.

I die, I disappear.

Are you sure there's that much difference between Mind and Instinct?
The power of the latter is strong enough to effect the first one.

So I think not being scared of dying is unnatural or just hypocrisy. Unless you're some religious fanatic that is.

EDIT: Just checked the voting results: 4 votes for "yes", 15 for "no". That's not even hypocrisy. That's just, may I say, childish bullshit. No offence.

I picked No

If I had to die I would pick this way:
Run Over by a Semi Truck Driven by The Incredible Hulk.

yes, i would hate to die unless there is a certainty of an afterlife.

but then how can you be certain until you die and experience it? you cannot and that is why i want my life to go on as long as possible.

besides, as far as i can tell, it is human nature to want to live.

It really depends for me. If I died peacefully in my sleep, no not very scared. If I was to be drawn and quartered I'd be wetting myself in fear.

Yes.

Not so much that i'm dying (if it's natural, i.e no-one comes at me with a machete) but because of the regrets that would be going through my mind and the inability to go back and fix them.
