there are better ways to be remembered, like reproducing so many offspring, so that someday in the future nearly everyone in a city/province/country/continent could trace their lineage back to you some how

lmao
Like make a virus that kills all the male population of the world, but me, because somehow my genes make me immune (but is because, I made the virus and wanted all the woman of the world)
NAH too much comic like.
and ever hear the saying IS MUCH EASIER TO DESTROY THAN CREATE, and I am kind of lazy by nature, so there 🤣

I should have died plenty of times, so I am not really worried...
Same here. I can think of three times when I seriously thought I would die. And although those times I may have been a little frightened, the thought doesn't bother me much any more.

I don't want to die, but I'm not necessarily afraid of it. After all, unless you're immortal and plan to still be around after we've blown everything up, you're going to die.
I go away and suddenly the spammers are the mods. Okay, I can adjust to that, but... Gorath?! And what's up with Mam's not being the top poster?

That doesn't mean you should be scared.
I am not saying that you should embrace dead, you should fight for every second of your life, you should fear nothing, but fear itself, if you can keep it cool in life or dead situations, you will find that is a MUCH easier task to avoid dead.
Those that just freeze because they fear a situation or find it extremely unexpected are the ones that are more likely to die.
I almost died a lot of times, because of my illness and when I though I was finally out the hock a Bus lost control and jumped on the sidewalk, I reacted fast and threw myself inside a store, so you should always live like dead is coming after you (and it is), but never let it bother you 🙂

I'd regret dying, and certainly there's a lot I want to do, but if I'm constantly fearing my death, I won't be able to enjoy my life.

!!!
so you prefer:
Non existence: You just disappear, banish, your kids/grandkids remember you for a while, but then PUFF like you never existed
NO THANKS
Hell sounds better than that >_> (the hell that Stan uses you as cannonfoder when he strikes heaven)
I mean a second existence after dead sounds good, regardless of what happens afterwards (This time you can't die again!!! and no one can stop you from trying to escape) as long as you have hope, there is light at the end of the tunnel.

How can you regret anything if your dead?

Exactly how i feel, death itself dosent bother me nearly as much as HOW ill die. I would hate to have it be really painful or lame like getting hit by a tree and dying or something.
"Man, because he sacrifices his health in order to make money. Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then he dies having never really lived."- Dalai lama

I have 2 options
Non existence: I just disappear, banish, my kids/grandkids remember me for a while, but then PUFF like I never existed (SUCKS)
Go to the bad plays of most Religions and enjoy (yeah) an ethernity of pain and punishment (I kind of like this one more, because even if I am suffering, the fact that I lived still remains)
Why does the second option have to be religious? If the afterlife does exist, I think it's more probable that religions have it wrong and it's something entirely different.

Good point, because if you're dead, it's over. But you know what I meant, right?

Yep, and I agree w/ you fully live your life the best you can w/ little or no regret because we never know when it will end. We all just need to enjoy the ride.

I am afraid of the pain that comes before dying, if possible I want a painless death.
