What's the difference between 'mature' and 'adult'?

Hey, I learned something too! Thanks candyloop for your tireless fight against ignorance.

for me, adult does not equal porno. porno is a subset of adult manga. I just give adult the rating of 18+. Soeverything for 18+ is adult. Mature is there to lete people know, that this is a manga with more than just shonen fights. I think these two make sense.
All ages= neither Mature or Adult
not for children = mature ( something like PG 13 )
and for 18 and over: adult ( well, i think in the USA adult would be 21+ )

Shonen seinen and such other things are then descriptions for which main audience they are meant for, and then the other genre ( sports, comedie,.... ) give additional info on the plot.

                            I agree though, that putting it all into genre makes it a little complicated.   
                               anyway,       see you round

As we can see, Bully clearly had DEEPLY studied every genre of manga.
