The whole cast of NGE- there's like no happiness for any of that cast. And it's worse b/c they all have different types of depression and other psychological disorders

But the most depressing lead I've ever seen is definitely Aikawa Hinako from Bitter Virgin. She was raped repeatedly in her own house, no one believed her, she got pregnant from it twice, miscarried once, then had to have a c-section her second time, and all this happened before the first year of high school.
