Generally speaking, which one is your prefered choice?

In my case, I like simplicity, since it makes it easier, but in some cases something complex is fullfilling, like when I'm reading something hard to understand and then, after my 10th time reading it again, I finally get it òÖ.

Feel free to be more specific too.

I not sure I can distinctly put a choice for this. Let's be specific.

If we're talking of situations... I like them to be simple mostly.
If we're talking about reading/watching... I like them to be simple half the time and complex half the time... mostly depending on my mood.
If we're talking about food... well, simple.
If we're talking about art... Complex
If we're talking maths... Complex... OK.. this was unnecessary XD

Complex... mainly because i always love to solve some complex tasks or play mind games.. but in general, to solve or understand anything complex you have to deconstruct it to smth more simple or several simple things.. it usually comes to that.. 😉

Edit: and anyway.. its no fun if everything is too simple all the times, gets boring after some time.. 🙂

Simple can be enjoyed! I think it's an art, a skill, it's complex to enjoy simple things afterall 🤣

haha, nice play on words 😀 but i didn't really say you cant enjoy simple things, it is surely possible.. but you cant keep it too simple for a long time, it will kill all the fun.. just imagine your life being only eat, sleep, work... where's the fun? but if you add friends, activities, hobbies and such.. it gets more complicated, but its what makes it so fun 😁
although i have to agree, sometimes even the smallest and simple things can make your day.. like just being near the one you love/like/or smth other random emotion.. but on the other hand, its "oh not so" simple to have someone like that... AaRgH, its all too controversial and COMPLEX... aaa 🤢 🤣

Somewhere in the middle. Not so simple that I'm bored and not so complex that I get frustrated. But either can be good at times. If I had to pick which, I'd say complex because I can work through frustration much easier than I could boredom.

Ah! Now that you mention this point... I guess even I find it easier to go through the frustration with a cool mind rather than get irritated by the fact that I'm getting bored...
But my question is... Is it necessary for things to be complex to get frustrated??
Think about it 😀

Depends what it is, but mostly complex enough to keep me interested but not so complex that it's really confusing.

Things don't have to be complex to be frustrating, frustrating things can be simple. But when something is too complex to decipher, frustration ensues, and sometimes you simply get bored with trying to understand the complexity, so you move on. 😕 If you take poems for example, a simple one can be seen as complex, and some poems that are seen as complex are actually very simple to understand once you get past trying to figure them out. 🤢

RL - generally simple, complex only enough to keep me entertained (I loathe dramu)
Fiction - complex ftw.
Stuff to study - 2nd-grade level simple, plz. Except for programming, which is quite fun when it's mind-numbingly complex. It's a great feeling when all frustration goes away when you see it works.

Depends, if I want the easy way out, simplicity. If I want a challenge, complex.

School--simple
Sports--complex
Food--simple
Games--complex
Clothes--simple
...well yeah list can go on..

I'm a lazy person so if it's anything that concerns working for it, I'd rather it be simple.

when I'm lazy, I prefer simple.I don't want to think too much then.
but when I'm in the mood for complex things, I never read/ do anything simple ^_^ then it all has to be soo complex!! 🤣

I'd like to keep is as simple as possible. Of course, complexity can't be avoided but imo, its complex for a reason. 🙄
