I don't believe in luck as in you can determine things on how lucky you are. If you are "lucky" things are just going your way at the moment. You can fall just as far as you've climbed.

I believe in chance, probability, randomness, etc. but I don't believe that a person can be "born with bad luck" or anything like that.

To a degree, people make their own luck, for example, my kids think I'm sooo "lucky" because I find money on the ground fairly often (mostly small change) - well - I'm looking for it! 🤣 A large part of "luck" is being aware of opportunities & taking advantage of them. 😃

Everything that happens happens for a reason and all events are effects of an earlier event.

Therefore, Luck does not exist other than an definition of unexpected fortunate events.
Likewise, Bad luck does not exist other than an definition of unexpected unfortunate events.

That's what I believe, too. Sometimes, it's all about being at the right place at the right time but you've got to keep your eyes open and take action.
