hmmm.... Ruroni Kenshin. But it was a tough decision.
Glados is a bitch. She made me kill the companion cube, the only friend I'll ever have. 😢

Kenshin, but I haven't read enough of vagabond yet.
Although Kenshin is on my top 5 of all time

Vagabond all the way.
Kenshin is a bit shounen for my taste.
@ahoaho
Wasn't Shura no Toki about a swordless/weaponless technique anyway? - tries to remember- ... Musashi appeared in the first couple of episodes but later not. Did I miss anything? 😕

First 12 episodes I believe. Could be wrong. But it also features Jyuubei Yagyu and the Choshu Clan and the Shinsengumi.
I would add Peacemaker Kurogane into the fracas too.
I had to vote Kenshin because it is the first anime that I REALLY got into. And just watch the Samurai X movies if it's too shounen.

I don't think you can safely compare the Kenshin series with Samurai X. The quality of Samurai X is three levels up the least. Anyways I differentiate them based on that. If the series were like the OVAs, I would say Kenshin right away. But Vagabond is Vagabond in the whole series.

Well...Vagabond is technically superior, but I just can't help but feel nostalgic whenever I see Kenshin. It's the first manga I ever owned. 😀

Vagabond, it showed me the way of the samurai much better and more realistic that Ruroni Kenshin

For me, toooo easy to pick...
Vagabond of course...
As jar as the mangas are concerned, I must go with Vagabond. It's more graphic, doesn't have any battles with morality, he just goes out and follows his destined path. I would have to say Trust and Betrayal are definitely on par with Vagabond though.
