I don't think this test is really accurate. Having questions about facts and trivia isn't very good in an itelligence test, because that just measures how much you know, not your actual IQ.

But well, that's just my opinion 😀

The ta3 test is for people who are confident in their overall abilities and have tons of factual knowledge stored in their brains (uber geeks). The ecma one is the more standard one and you can get into their society with 124 or more. When I did the tests on their website I got 147 in the standard one like a year ago and it is the most accurate IQ test I have seen on the internet as it doesn't have a low ceiling like a lot of the others and the questions are challenging. Even 10 out of 30 is good I think. The ta3 is discriminating because not many people know about the field of mathematics and all the various theorems and such also the factual knowledge section is biased towards testing overall learning capabilities (It's more like a test of how much you know plus your learning capabilities).

Edit: Heh It seems they made the standard test harder than before. (they included simple factual knowledge) So I did it again and I only got a 139 (still pretty high but my factual knowledge sucks ass) For those of you who are skeptical about my score here for bragging rights: [img]http://img112.imageshack.us/img112/3475/iqby9.th.jpg[/img] And IQ tests are pretty accurate fyi at least this one is. So booyakasha. 😛

Oh and my IQ is far too high for me to pay 199 dollars to be a member at a we are smarter than everyone else society. 😛

someone organization's tests are too simple. I did there tests some while back and I got a 154. Way too easy. 😁

My bad it wasn't mensa now that I think about it clearly. But the highiqsociety is fairly good.

I also noticed that someone voted for the 80-100 category. All I can say is daah daah daah.

I've never done well on IQ tests... Operating under pressure is so difficult 🤢

Well, As I said before. Some IQ tests are quite inaccurate. The one I took on Sparknotes a years ago told me My IQ was 130, I took it again a few days ago and It was 60 or something.....

Yeah that does seem highly inaccurate.

@mainck What pressure? It doesn't really matter what score you get. It's not gonna affect your future in any way. Well I guess if it's a mandatory iq test to get into some institution then yes there might be pressure.

Yep that does suck I guess but I kinda like the whole one exam thing cause I do really good at exams whereas Year round my grades are awful due to nothanding in assignments and playing around too much. 😀

Sometimes, we are afraid to test ourselves because we don't want the result to be bad. But do understand this, there's nothing in life that cannot be changed by your perceptions of the world.

It's solid evidence, SAT is not an IQ test.

I've seen a recent sat test and no offence but the maths section is a joke. Nearly everything there I knew since I was 14 years old. Hmm.. english section requires almost no higher abilities whatsoever. Memorization mostly. Except for essay. Just my opinion. Don't get mad.

that is what a lot of these kids said. They all said the math section was too easy. Yet, the national average of the scores for SAT was 518 for math.
