I never took the Mensa test, but I have my IQ determined when I was about to enter the university. 151 was the result and knowing that didn't change anything. The decisions I've made in life are completely extremes some were good and some were really stupid, I suppose IQ doesn't protect from making bad choice. The only thing I can be happy about it's that I've always have followed my decisions and I've never go along with trends, I make friends wherever I go (even if I don't wanna) and my phisical condition it's quite good (eighteen years of taekwon-do have given me quite the resistant body and self control). Maybe it's true the saying that says: Mens Sana In Corpore Sano, something like Healthy Mind In a Healthy Body.

Mine ranges from 130s to 140s. It has been mentioned before that IQ really doesn't tell you much. To demonstrate that, if IQ correlates to being able to perform well in academia, it would mean that if I put in all my effort into doing something, I should do well in everything I do. However, I have had on many occasions put as much effort as humanly possible in courses, and still come out right at the passing mark.

Meanwhile, a good friend of mine, who has IQ of around 70, gets 80% to 90% in classes.

So yea, IQ is completely meaningless in my opinion.

You should never take it online, every time I did it always said I had a 151, which was a complete lie since in some of them I put in the wrong answer purposely.

I don't understand the point of grading by the IQ scale. It was meant to test for mental retardation. But I guess if everyone wants to measure themselves by that standard its fine by me-- though still its seems pointless to be able to move objects in your head.

First off I am no show off. I believe that being humble is a priority even if you do better than others. After all everyone has his or her own talents. That being said my IQ is 150 by the American standard to 160 by the American standard. As I said I do not regard these numbers as a measure of intelligence. Many people score badly on this test and yet some of them have the most amazing talents I have ever seen.

If I remember right, the last time I took an IQ test, it was 129 or 130. Though, I'm sure if I took one now, it'd probably be lower.
The years are taking a toll on my intelligence. 🤣

Its kind of sad. I remember taking it in middle school, and it was something like 130, and then I took it again after messing myself up, and it was like 110. 🤣

It indicates something, just not as magical as you would have it to be. Some companies do ask for an official IQ test score. To me official IQ tests are pretty good at defining people's abilities.

Also I find it curious people here do not want to be normal. The 100 range plus and minus 15 points. I guess we have a bunch of above average iq in here than.

I took my IQ test when I was 11 or 12; it was so long ago that my dad had to tell me how I did. I do not even remember many things except that I wanted to go out with my friends on the day of the test. 😀 😀 😀 😀
