that only works for chn cookings. westerns use different poisons.
and god knows, if i ever hire a chef, the last thing i'm gonna do is hire a chn chef. i want some EURO FOOD!!!!

And what's the problem with feeding the chef first? If he dies, then he did poison it. If he doesn't than he didn't. Quite simple 😀

Then you've got a problem, I guess... or, you can always use a technique from Middle Ages, when paranoiac royals were afraid of poisons. Just get some small kid and feed it with the food beforehand.
