Is it Wrong to eat Pets?

I don't think it's wrong, but I'd only do it if I was on the brink of dying from starvation.

It depends, I'd say it's wrong to eat a pet. Eating say a guinepig or a cat os fine by me though, as long as it's not somebodys pet.
Oh but theres one exeption: DOGS It's bl##dy cannibalism to eat dogs. Chinese people are beasts who can treat dogs that way. There should be some kind of penalty for eating dogs.

I have no problem with people eating animals that are plentiful.
What I do mind is different Asian cultures and their love for endangered animals. Also shark finning srsly wtf you cut off the fins and through it back in alive to slowly die just because you think it will make you more virile, when in fact studies show eating too much of it cause sterility. Srsly China wtf!?

Some Asian cultures eat dogs just as you eat beef, pork, or chicken.
To you, a dog may be seen as a "man's best friend", however to them they are merely another source of food.

Looking that you have an avatar with a cat while saying that it's fine to eat a cat, I can't help but feel that it's as if it won't be long until she'll be seen with an apple in her mouth on a silver plate.
I don't understand why you would see eating dogs as cannibalism and guinea pigs & cats as something normal/that wouldn't bother you. If you care so much about dogs that you would call cannibalism the act of eating one perhaps you should try thinking outside the box and realize that a guinea pig or a cat or any other animal would feel the same thing when being killed for the purpose of satisfying one's hunger.
I also eat meat but I don't think that a chicken has more "rights" than a pig.
As for eating a pet, no I would not do it. If I think about pets then I think about something I am attached to, hence I couldn't eat it be it mine, someone else's or just an animal that is considered a pet.

It's not wrong, but I'd find it very disturbing to eat a cat or a dog.
a guinea pig, however, is a pig to me, and i'll eat it XD
