I lurked for a little bit, but I finally joined the forums because someone wanted recommendations on the site. Since almost everyone I know now doesn't like manga, I get really happy when someone likes manga and wants to try some new series. Then I try to find as many series that fits with the person's request. Actually, I got complimented on my first post. I was pretty happy, but I didn't thank the person because that wasn't part of the conversation (and I didn't know how to send mail yet). 🙂 Yeah, I made sure to read the rules before signing up.

But recently, I found out about the filter tool, and I absolutely love it. (Yay! I don't haven't to look at yaoi series anymore.)

After spending a lot of time lurking around and reading various forum posts, i decided it was time to join in on the fun 🤣

I started finishing all the series that I could find on my own and wanted more. The releases page is good. I lurked for months only using it. Then I felt like going on the forum.

Pretty much my reason. And to keep my reading list organized. I just sort of drifted to the forum.

Same thing with me. I really think I probably used this site for like a year before I actually signed up, and then after I signed up, I was on it for a couple of months before I started posting in the forums.

I joined the site cuz someone told me I could filter releases. Now all my releases are mostly in colors and I don't see some genres I don't like 😛

After I joined I found the "lists" useful too and now I decided to start posting in the forums haha. Before joining I just used it too look at new releases or search for a manga.

I lurked around on this site looking for new series for years before I figured I might as well join, found the lists feature and never looked back.
Now I mostly use it to procrastinate instead of studying 🙁

Joined because this was the first manga site that had lots of resources to use. Also this was my third manga site I visited. First was Mangashare then Onemanga. Found MU to be the best one, so I stuck with it.
