I saw Kamelot last week. It's a great band and besides great musicians they are also fantastic performers. The music was good, the atmosphere great, and the band really got the crowd going. Pretty much a perfect performance.

The last gig I went to was in Lille. the Kills and Gossip (plus two other bands, can't remember. The Blakes, maybe).

The best show I have ever been to was Nightwish in Times Square this past October. It was absolutely amazing -- crowd wise, music wise, just everything. They're coming back in September, and I'm REALLY excited.

Second favorite concert was AFI in Wiesbaden, Germany last May. Had to leave the show early because my boyfriend got injured and we had to take him to the hospital, but the time that we were there was very memorable.

I've seen many bands, but those were my two favorite!

Next up is Mindless Self Indulgence and The Birthday Massacre in the beginning of July, and then the Amphi Festival in Cologne, Germany at the end of July.

I'm a little disappointed in the shows around here recently. No one I really want to see. So I guess I'll just stick to playing my little pub gigs.

Went to a Venetian Snares show and DJ Daniel Myer opened, so in addition to the awesomeness of hearing Aaron Funk glitch out in person, I got to see one of the guys behind Haujobb live. And damn, he's as good -- better -- live than he is on the albums. He did a lot of fiddling around with old school hip hop; every now and then he dropped his mix into various things, like Digital Underground's The Humpty Dance, as well as some MC Hammer and the like.

I don't go the that many rock concerts. I don't really like being surrounded by sweaty people. Some of those I've really enjoyed over the years were The Doves, Metallica (the old members), Suede, Coldplay, Travis, Stereophonics, Sade&Pride, Andy Timmons, Pat Metheny, Steve Vai, The Mars Volta, Muse and Radiohead.

I'm into club music, mainly Progressive House/Deep House/Deep Trance/Drum n Bass.... and arguably the best ever 'live' I've been to was Hernan Cattaneo @ Ogenki, Tokyo a few years ago.... Nearly cried from bliss. Also excellent was **Satoshi Tomiie @ Heaven, London ** ....Makoto @ LOOP, Tokyo .... John Digweed @ Zouk, Singapore .... Ben Watt @ Zouk, Singapore .... Nick Warren @ Salt Night Club, Perth .... The Chemical Brothers @ Space, Ibiza.

Cheerz!! 😎

I saw City and Color (Dallas Green from Alexisonfire) earlier in June. Before that I saw Patrick Watson and Tegan & Sara (which was alright save for the terrible drunken people making a mosh-pit).

Do folk festivals count as gigs? If so I will see Broken Social Scene (again), Final Fantasy (Owen Pallet), and several others in a month.

My city doesn't really have a good venue and we have to crowd in either a small club, a small reception hall with a very low ceiling, a football stadium, or a multipurpose oval stadium (hocky rink, agribition [essentially a farm showroom], circus building, monster truck arena, etc.).

There have been some big concerts [for my city] that I've not attended: the Rolling Stones for example (I could hear them from my home, 4 city blocks from the football stadium in which they performed). Oh, next fall Elton John is coming... his tickets sold out... in four minutes. Also, I just discoverd today that my little sister is absolutely giddy that she got tickets to see the Backstreet Boys (yes, they're still alive and still on tour... my god have mercy on my city).

I've seen many bands in concerts but most of them are from the UK. I've seen Paramore, 30 Seconds to Mars, Plain White T's (2 times), Hello Goodbye and Cobra Starship << popular bands. And others such as Kids in Glass Houses, Bullet for my Valentine, Enter Shikari, Panic at the Disco and a bunch of other bands when I went to see Give it a Name, which is basically a gig that starts at 12am in the morning and finishes at 6am, altogether there is about 15 bands that play during the whole gig << Paramore and Plain White T's where playing there. I'm seeing Fall out Boy in October and Elliot Minor in November << all of this was from this year. Except Hello Goodbye was December 07' (= I didn't spend a lot of money because the tickets aren't even expensive and I live right near the main concert halls.

I love live concerts, i don't get to messed up from getting pushed around or going into the pits so it works out nicely. The last show i saw was The Hives, which was actually awsome!

Nice. Scofield is pretty damned good.
