Green day,linkin park and these 2 r the best bands ever and hoobastank but i hate them i dont know why they r famous 😔

Metallica is WAY overrated. The last really good album they had was the Black Album. IMO Kill'em All is their best, but that's because I think that Dave Mustaine writes better riffs than James Hetfield.

i find them extremely overrated, don't get me wrong, i am not saying they are bad in any form, and just cause a band is overrated, doesn't mean they are bad(seeing as i like slipknot, Fall out boy, and a few others listed here) it just means that they get much more attention and things to their name than they deserve.

they are both good, but, there are much better bands for the genre to be known than them.

Agree on Amy Winehouse. She's pretty unique compared to all the other faces on MTV and she's a...unique presence (she feels like being stoned and pushed from the back by someone on the scene-I like that 😛 ) but she didn't revolutionize music, no matter what some wise ones might say.

Rihanna (not a band but still incredibly overrated) is another portable boobs system that somehow gets praised 10x more than other pop singers, despite the fact that she sings exactly the same thing over and over again.

I disagree on Amy Winehouse. Sure, she hasn't done anything special as far as innovation, but she sings the blues, which is a genre that has changed very little in 100 years. And goddamn, can she sing.

The Arctic Monkeys are overrated.

And I can't believe that no one has said Dragonforce. They make me throw up in my mouth a bit.

There's a difference between "Overrated" and "Bad".

Linkin Park is definitely overrated. No doubt about it. Are they bad? No, in fact they're pretty good and one of my favorite bands.

More overrated bands:

Led Zeppelin, Beatles, Metallica, Red Hot Chili Peppers, the vaaaassssttttt majority of the bands with "hits" in the 2000s.

Although LZ, Beatles Metallica & RHCP are overrated, they're still very good. Excellent to listen to.
