Piracy
Hmm, I rarely have bought anything... : x
I have downloaded all my music, manga and anime. I haven't pirated any software though, and if you need advice for that, you should ask our resident mod, STARLIGHTDREAMS. She knows everything about it. I could find quotes, I have evidence!! 😛
But yeah...
If I had money though, I would totally support them! T__T But I'm dirt cheap and poor. Not a good combination. And hey, I already pay for my internet. Now, if internet was free, then I'd totally feel guilty! : o
(... or not.)

oooooooo~ someone's going to be in trouble with mai~~~XD
But to answer the question - yes, it's hard to be on the internet and not do it...but I do feel guilty each time. (If that makes it any better...) T.T
Meh, occasionally.
If anything, I don't actually get it myself. It's given to me by my friends. Most of my music is sent from my friends, and one of them even mangaed to get me Photoshop as well 🤣
There are things I do like to buy though. Like my Smallville and Heroes boxsets. I prefered buying them and watching them on TV rather than the computer. And my computer is a pile of rubbish that would die halfway through trying to download an episode.
P.S - Someone's on a thread marathon here 🤣

Somewhere between the second and last choices, I'm really cheap but I'm even lazier, downloading and installing is so troublesome...

I don't pirate stuff, but I know plenty of people who do, and I borrow i sometimes. Does that make me an accomplice?

I do it all the time and I'm not ashamed of it.
Even if I can afford it 😐
The only thing I don't pirate is console games

Pretty much this. I even download movies and music that I already own.

I pirate stuff all the time. For various reasons.
One of them being that I'm a cheap bastard (of the female variety)
xD
the tigers have found me
and I do not care.

I always, always buy books, but that is my only moral code (actually, it's just a self-satisfying device, but whatever).
Beyond that, anything is basically free game. If I feel that something is good enough and I have the money, I'll buy a physical copy.
...and I think you just earned yourself another slap from a fish, Doc :haha;

NightSwan also said that she wanted to peg me, once, but I'm not sure whether to take that as a compliment or a threat...

For me it would be hard not to, in my language books are only available on hand. The only book I have downloaded was the last part of Harry Potter just after it was published (DAMN I HATE THAT BOOK, I first thought that I have gotten my hands on bad fan-fiction).
Anyway in my childhood downloading or going to shop and buying a video game were practically identical action only going to shop costed money. Both versions were pirated. And when you have been doing that for so long it's pretty hard to drop the habit now even if in the shops there are now normal licensed versions in english language.

I mean if Pac-Man affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic music."

I look at it like this; If not for pirating, I wouldn't watch/read/whatever the thing in question anyway. This way, I'm 'sampling' the merchandise, and if I like it enough I'll buy it. XD

All the time for me. But I when I do have money, I actually go out and buy stuff. Hell, I still actually buy music CD's.
Sarcasm just doesn't work over the internet.
