Hmm, yeah. I only download stuff that I can't afford, though...which is pretty much everything. 🤣 But no, I don't download manga...it's too much of a hassle when I can read them online anyway...

Well... lets just say I haven't paid for music since 2005.
As for everything else, I'm just 'testing it out' or backing stuff up. Like old movies that are on VHS or something, and new movies I want to see before I waste my money (saved a fortune doing that). I do occasionally go out and buy a couple volumes of less popular manga that I like if it's licensed. I don't pirate games at all though. I just buy 'em.

I laught because when we were living in South Korea, my brothers bought loads of pirated games for some of their game systems (I'm not even sure which ones anymore). And when my dad was over in the middle east for six months, he came home with quite a few pirated movies. In fact, even if you count scanlated manga as pirated, I probably do less pirating than anyone else in my family. And outside of manga, it's very rare for me to actually download something (although I do watch TV shows online that aren't exactly available on Hulu...).

I am willing to pay a ridiculous amount of money for a few songs? NAH

I can sing in my bathroom, and half of the time my lyrics are better and less repetitive -_-
Movies are another thing, if the movie is good then is worth those few bucks... wouldn't you agree?
Games? well I am not an avid player anymore, but yeah, If I can download it for free why pay?
Programs are too expensive and but I HAD to pay for a few of them... fuckers

I use Youtube for music.

I download series all the time, I'm not going to let some douche or yt-clip spoil something for me just 'cause my country has to wait for new episodes. Nor will I ever schedule my life around the TV-guide when I can and should be able to watch it anytime. Either they get with the new technology or they can go fuck themselves.

Rarely watch movies.

I download emu/roms and PS2-games frequently. If they aren't selling the game anymore, they really can go fuck themselves - that it isn't legal to download shit you can't even get in stores is the real crime.

Internet made culture global, and because of that I have a right to every little thing the US or Japan spawns, even though I don't live in either country. Am I willing to watch commercials? OF COURSE, they still need money to supply me with more awesome shows.

ALL the time!
Everything on my Ipod is from torrents.. And I download movies from torrents too.. I don't rewatch movies so its not worth buying.. Also there are a tons of shows that are just easier to download all at once rather than to keep up with them and there are a few shows that are on channels I dont have (HBO etc)

I have the portable photoshop.. Though I am looking for illustrator and the non-portable photoshop.. I need it for school but its expensive!! 🤢 Otherwise, I don't download software often.. Mostly because installing it w/ the crack and all that stuffs usually defeats me..

I down't download games.. I dont play games often and I simply dont know how..

I don't pirate for everything. It's only when it's not worth the money, but I still want it...

I believe in letting people do as they wish, as do I myself. Sometimes, of course, what I wish to do is kill them and they do not wish to die. This gives life interest.

I pirate. My reason's a bit different though. I'd buy them if I could, but I'm not allowed.

Mostly just manga, books, tv shows, and movies though. Nothing comes on tv here...nothing I can understand anyways... 😐 I'd get them from the library if there was a library here. I'm in the middle east, so most things I would buy here would be pirated anyways.

Software...nothing except Photoshop...

Games, stopped playing them long ago...

Aye I Pirate. Piracy is NOT theft.
I do beleive it is wrong (on a massive scale) and that it hurts more hten it helps. But the only loss is Potential sales, not actual ones.
As such I only pirate what I wouldnt buy, and I do buy stuff regularly.
Instead of renting or borrowing, I just pirate which results in roughly the same anyways.

If they don't want people to engage in piracy, why do they give it such a cool name, anyway? I usually don't, but still, bad branding.

If they want to keep people from doing it, they should call it something boring. Like Unlawful Information Processing... or they could call it something horrible. Like Software Ear Canal Rape. That's something I wouldn't want to do.

Yup, just downloaded a couple episodes I've missed for my favorite series. Still, I go and get the DVD's or CD's of my favorite shows, movies or bands. For the most part, I pirate to see if something is worth buying.
