Well whatever, not gonna bother to read them. Try 9 Banme no Musashi. Romance isn't the main focus of the storyline but yea, it otherwise fits. If it got mentioned between page 2 and 4 then tough luck.

Teppuu has a female lead that fits but I don't remember there being any romance so far.
