@wingroad342: There is no endless energy. Something has to spin the wheel in the first place, and whatever spins the wheel will ALWAYS take up more energy than the energy output by the spinning magnets.

@sycoal: If you want to prove me wrong, show me evidence that it's possible. If nobody here does, then why should I believe that somebody here can build an AT. Since I don't know any of you, I'm not going to just believe it when you say that XXX is possible, when most evidence says it isn't.

Ok, ive been following this topic for quite some time, so I thought I may aswell contribute. At the moment I am working on a few diagrams/schematics and i will upload the finished work when I can. I have a fairly large knowledge of Physics, and am still studying it as a Standard Grade/Higher (I live in the UK so it's different from what you all do in USA). Ive also skated for a number of years (biggrin) so if you ever need any knowledge on that im good to ask.

I hope this suceeds. That would Pwn bigrazz

well if there was a rather good battery, all you would have to do before using it to keep endless energy is just roll the wheel a few times yknow? none

^^ There's no such thing as endless energy. This is the most basic principle of physics.

yet. i think we will find a way to dreate endless energy but that will take a while so for now we use a substitute and make that awesome and when endless energy appears well who knows what we could do then

^^ To avoid this argument, I think we can safely say that nobody on this forum will be able to make a device that operates on any endless energy supply.

well i completly agree with wingroad342
this is the exact motor was talking about about in my previous post the post which jay3205 ridiculed for "bad grammer".

i think that this motor is the best choice. i have looked through and designed a few and consulted an engineer and he as agreed with me so i think we should really consider .
i will try to draw up some diagrams but i dont have the facilities on my computer so it may take a while.

I would very much like to hear how this Faraday motor works then. It is OK if you don't post diagrams... so long as your explanation of why it works is reasonable.

Wow...50 pages of planning and dedication to making air trek cool
But I have some points to bring up (ignore repeats as I have not gone through the 50 pages of this thread)
-power supply
-not just powerful and small, but powerful, small, accurate, weight-sensing, and controllable motors
-wheels
-safety (jumping a few hundred meters in the air sounds kind of dangerous, no?)
Making air trek is definitely possible but it'd be pretty primitive. Remember that this is fictional with fictional properties and good luck smile

OK. Jay Ill Follow you up on that. Here's my reasons.

1. Why do I have to talk so Intellegent. For one this forum has people of all ages. So if I make it to complicated no one will understand what I am saying.

2. I agree with you about me not having any proof. Ill give you that proof I have the plans and blue prints. Ill upload them as soon as I make minor adjusments.

3. I hate talking in complete sentences. I have things so complete and I type way faster with out me making complete sentences. This is the reason im talking in them right now. So I can prove to you that I'm able to type and have proper spelling and grammer.

4. 80 killowatts is alot of power but have you ever thought the chips uses most of the power? and comsumes alot of power? Answer me this quick question. What if i told you that I know of a way to get unlimited power...? Its also not in the same way your thinking. So think again.

5. I currently "claim" that i have plans to make the regallias. I'm more in the favor of possessing that knowlege. Like you told all of us, you do not know us so you do not know what we are capable of. No disrespect, because I have the upmost respect for all of my fellow teamates. So I will just ask please so us all respect that we've all gave to you. Thank you.

6. Also about the killowatts the reason its so high, but you get so little feedback is simple. I wanted a source that was massive so I can have so much power. So when you use the skates you do not have to charge them. Now do you know why I have a 80 kilowatts?

7. Also about the "unlimited source of power". I was thinking of using out own kinetc Energy as out power. Energy cannot be created or destroyied. Energy just changes forms. So i was thinking when ever your about to ride. all you have to do is ride it normally as you would regular inline skates. I was thinking instead of making a new power why not just be it. are we on the same page now confused

8. A regallia is tricky. The flame burns the frame. So I needed a stronger frame for two reasons.
A. So the impact from the falls will not break the frame nor your ancles.
B. So the flames will not melt the Frame.

To Help my claim Ill tell you that when you going in high speed on the AT's. Heat Energy builds up the regallia has diffrent wheels then the others. They will not burn up as easily, but also there made up of the same material as the Fire proof Clothing. But in a metal like form. so it will not break as easily and also it will not burn up. Also the Outside of the AT where the wheel almost meets. has a the same substance thats on the side of a match box. So when the heat gets hot enough and you bend down and jump in the air and the motor goes....you make fire and there goes your flame regallia... and as moving in a ducking position.

Any more questions confused

Ok.

4. The computer chips don't use that much power. You can power a normal computer off of 60 watts and an electric car for less than 40k watts.

5. True, I don't know what you can do, but I know that the odds of anyone here having the engineering knowledge to develop real ATs, real regalia, and related technologies is not good.

6. Big battery = more weight. Most people would have trouble lifting a battery that can deliver that kind of power, let alone fit inside a skate.

7. That's not unlimited power. That system would be less efficient than just skating normally. You're muscle energy gets wasted when you charge the battery, and the battery energy gets wasted again when it transfers to the motor.

8. If by flame regalia, you mean something that just catches fire or looks like the regalia, then I don't doubt you. If you mean a skate that can make walls of flame from shear speed, then I don't believe you.

True The odds are slim and im not going to force you to believe me. It is your choice, but im just telling you what im am doing thats the most I do the rest you have to accept my claims or not. Know this once I make this break through I will show you what I am able to do.

ok so even if you get the air treks made, they would not be easy to control,I'm a semi-pro inline speed skater and I dont think I would have the skill to control them cause in speed skating you have to build up to speed but with air trecks the skates get a near instant boost to speed so you would most likely not be able to handle the boost unless you are a extremly experienced rider so even if you do make them your not gonna be able to do much but stare and then even with jumping you still have realistic human limits.
