And now, I am suspecting yachiru to be Zaraki's zanpakuto even more.
The latest releases of Bleach... Er... I hope I'm not spoiling but when Zaraki appeared.. guess who was with him. Yup, Yachiru.
I also want to point out what I noticed during Zaraki's battle with Ichigo. As you know, Zaraki depends on his own power rather than relying on his zanpakuto. And Yachiru doesn't go away when Zaraki fights; she watches him on the sideline. I don't know if I can express it right but it's like... Zaraki doesn't need her so she's just there doing nothing, you know? But she's there with him just in case he finally opens up to her.
I mean, Zaraki DOES listen to her little by little - though she's forcing him to - example, when Zaraki was looking for Ichigo, you know that little comical trip in the maze-like soul society with Yachiru leading him AWAY from Ichigo?
Trust is obviously a little issue here...
Also, I could argue that Yachiru being small is related to Zaraki's control of the sword. The zanpakuto and its owner's relationship is not well built and his mastery of the sword is lacking therefore she is still young and underdeveloped - considering how long they've been together. I mean Yachiru looks exactly same as they first met.

I'm getting tired of this theory.
You're all thinking way too much into this. The only reason why you even believe this, is because we basically know almost nothing about Yachiru. Which leaves more room to fantasize about her.
There's almost no chance of it happening.
I'm not being close-minded, but there isn't even one hint in the manga that points out that she's his Bankai.

Yachiru is a shinigami. Just because she's attached to Zaraki doesn't mean she's his bankai. She's not a sword. She has a zanpaktou. swords can't have swords. Plus, Zaraki doesn't know the name of his sword, so his sword can't possibly have manifested, and seeing as we can see Yachiru, she can't be the manifestation of his sword.
also, if she is the manifestation of his sword, she wouldn't exist, because unless you believe in the manifestation of your sword, it's not going to appear to you. and she grew from the time he found her until the present. his believing in the power of his sword didn't change.
Seeing that most of the speculation doesn't have any good proof, I'd have to say that this theory is highly unlikely. Even the Ichigo/Kaien Shiba one had more proof, and look. it didn't happen.
