You can't really know until OP's been completed in Shounen Jump.

10 years after being completed, DBZ is still big in Japan. Look at the recent one shot with One Piece not too long ago... Plus, there are still DBZ related material being made. o;

the DBZ merchandise sells well over a billion by the time the series reached its peak. OP on the other hand is only half way to being complete, and its merchandise has sell more than DBZ. DBZ went on for 42 volumes (?), but OP is still ongoing, with no sign of ending soon, and its popularity always at the top.

now on a personal view, OP has something that DBZ didn't had; story as well as "impact".
