We're a very close-knit family^^ so the answer seems obvious but then there's my bestfriend whom I consider my soulmate (cheesy i know 😮 ) Besides, after knowing her for almost 18 years and still liking her, I think she deserves to be chosen too...

Hmmm... I'd say love. For there are some people that I love so much their no longer friend. Can't say family though because I'm not too proud of them.

It'd be unfair to make a choice between them. To me, I have only one category, and that's "important people". Family isn't necessarily important, there are lots of people who don't get along with their immediate family. I think people whom you feel good around, and just be yourself, and tell whatever - are your true family. Family through bonds, for the win! :'D

And I assume that the person you love, is also your best friend in some ways. They can fit in both fields!

Human relationships are more complex than this. D: And I like almost everyone, even strangers I just meet a second ago. xD;

There comes a time though in a person's life that you do have to choose, at least once. So think carefully before you make the choice.

My friends are important to me but I think my family means more to me. My mom and I are really close, she's probably one of my closest friends, same with my sister (although I could do without some people).

Friends, easy. My sister and her family are the only ones I care about out of my "family," but because they don't judge me and I actually like them, I consider them "friends." Opposite of what other people do, because I have bad associations with the word "family." In fact, the word makes me sick, because my family makes me sick. My sister is immediately taken out of the word "family," and when I speak of it, she's the farthest thing from my mind, because she and her little world full of people I like are my friends, true friends that aren't going anywhere, even if I'm in jail on hideous murder charges 🙂
