I'm not so big on family and I've always wondered if my family really loves me or just their daughter, niece, cousin... platonic love is ok and somewhat necessary but its not enough for me and friends they are also not enough and they are just as uncertain as love 😐

In general, I think Dr.Love is very right about the category of important people and that it doesn't matter if they are family or not.

But I think that the people you grew up with turn out to be your most important people (if you actually like them), since there is so much mutual understanding and decades of memories that I believe cannot be replaced by strangers who turn into friends/love someday.

Maybe I'll think otherwise when I am old and have had a partner or friends who stayed with me for a long time.
