If they find this "America's Greatest Otaku", then they failed, because they would never be able to find the greatest otaku in America. A few reasons: they wouldn't expose themselves, why should they want to?; they wouldn't know of the search, too busy reading manga; and being/being known as an otaku isn't exactly a good thing...
