I'm pretty sure Mayuri is going to help Urahara form the 12th into the entity it is as we know it. Did anyone else notice that it didn't have the same feel as it does in the scenes with Mayuri in his lab and with his squad? I think they are going to convert the 12th into a true R&D squad because right now it doesn't feel very science or technologically based.

My respect for Mayuri raised even more. =O But I have the feeling that Urahara isn't happy with how the Gotei 13 runs, and he clearly doesn't care about the rules, at all. That's why he tried to tread into dark waters and created the Hougyoku.

This is interesting though. Apparantly Urahara got locked up somewhere, maybe the Maggots nest, because he was deemed too intelligent for his own good which may prove as a future threat to Soul Society. And Yoruichi felt obligated to assist Urahara in escaping, after that she was 'relieved' from her position.

This arc is pwning right now. =D And I don't think the flashback will last for 108 chapters, it may even return to the present time after -100 or something~ Because Chapter -15 is Toshiro's side story. I guess the '-' sign just indicates how far they are going back into the past.

Right, I totally forgot that part. Urahara was imprisoned because to quote what he said to Hiyori " non-conformity and individuality is forbidden once you are already accepted into Gotei 13". This matter as far as central 46 is concerned is clear cut. Kisuke stand up too much because of his brilliance, and his freakish invention, thus a threat. Aizen, for him the quickest way to achieved his purposes just massacred central 46. In this case Aizen is brilliant too 🤣 🤣 🤣

Until now I'm wondering why didn't central 46 or any officer responsible for identifying a threat shinigami discovered aizen's plans.

I'm sensing some more Shinji backstory here -- I get the impression that he knows what Aizen is up to but doesn't want to admit it because Aizen will get locked up -- Bet he regrets that decision now

better still, i'll bet he's one of the catalysts for the events upcoming. Aizen, IMO, might had just thought everthing in his mind first, no actions taken whatsoever, but shinji, urahara and other are the ones that 'pushed' him to do just that.
just a wild guess, the 8 visard are the first ones that tasted the power of hougaku (i forgot its name) thus being the shinigami-hollow hybrids. Then, Aizen begun lustin for the ultimate power seeing them being uberstrong or somthing.

I don't think hiyori, shinji,love,kensei,nanao,rose, i forgot the name of green haired girl, purposely wanted to become a vaizard. I think they become vaizards accidentally maybe through exposure or contact with the hougyoku.

Maybe Aizen wanted to be one as Aizen in the last chapters of ss arc said that he doesn't want to have a limit in his shinigami powers and he found a way to have a limitless powers through the hougyoku. Unfortunately he did not have a chance because urahara tried to destroyed/hide it.

I think it was mentioned before in the case of Urahara and Yourichi at least, that they essentially escaped Soul Society, and they are too powerful to try to capture, so they arent messed with unless they do something that would make them an actual danger to Soul Society.

I just realized something. There can not be any possible way that Shinji was there when Rukia was, because Rukia has encountered him. Matsumoto, I think as well.

Not yet. Rukia entered SS when Byakuya adopted her and he was already a captain and at the time of the flashback, Byakuya is not yet a captain.

Matsumoto yes, I think cause the 10th division was replaced by hitsugaya and matsumoto was already a shinigami before hitsugaya in the flashback of hitsugaya's past.

Mayuri don't know how to fight hand to hand combat i think, thus he made his body into some sort of liquid. But both yoruichi and urahara can plus urahara is also a genius and yoruichi from what ive seen of her so far is also an intelligent one.
