Ever heard of the Dragon Phoenix Tiger platter in China?

Dragon = Snake
Phoenix = Chicken
Tiger = Cat

Grasshoppers and locusts... I don't think they're the same. Maybe they were alcohol flavored insects? 🤣

I haven't tried anything except for the regular Chinese restaurant menu.

Most of the stuff I'm posting is stuff I've seen or heard about. I had this English teacher with a iron stomach who claimed he's tried a lot of this stuff. (not the cat though)

I eat just bout anything, except any animal that can be considered a domestic house pet. I love all forms of meat - animals that go moo, quack, oink, baa.. you name it, and I'll eat it - all forms of seafood, vegatables, and fruits.. Everyone tells me, as long as it's not nailed down, I'll shove it in my mouth. Not to mention, I have some tastebuds most people would find bizarre because I have a tendency to mix things together that most people find disturbing or down right disgusting. I eat Japanase, American, Chinese, Irish, Italian, Cambodian, Korean, Vietnamese, Mexican cuisines.. and several others as well. And I come up with all sorts of concoction of my own when I wake up in the middle of the night starving.. My roommates claim I'm going to die from some sort of stomach problem 🤣

I've tried pork and chicken intestines, but not ox. Hm, maybe next time I'll fly over there and try it. 🤣

Make sure to come in winter since it is like a soup, it also comes with white beans... speaking of which we put ox ears and salty skin (along with smoked rib, bacon and linguiça), it is realy something, but you need a strong stomach because it is really heavy.

yup! me too...maybe its because of the mushy texture of the yolk that they're not used to that they throw up

The translation of it could be sausage, but I feared it would be mistaken by hot dog's sausage and in some sites they do use "linguiça" to refer to it. A good example would be pepperoni.
