Don't blame him, Suzuka was in the mood for it also and was going in that direction. However Suzuka is a innocent person and shes never had this kind of contact or been in this kind of situation before, so when Akitsuki made such a direct contact, she got scared and angry.

Well, it's pretty far from the story now but I have a feeling that Yui will soon come back. The story is far from her now but maybe.... maybe there will be another twist concerning Yui soon even though it's pretty far from the current situation of the plot. Don't let it get to you though 😀

Taking bets on what happens 'post-slap'

I'm betting she'll give him a minor cold shoulder and Yamato will eventually get her to talk to him again by acting stupid or something.

Seems to be a safe bet.

Either that or the next day she'll act like nothing happened. If this happens, then she probably would have done something like that, but he was too unromantic and scared her off.. Still, at the rate that Suzuka moves, it'll probably be another 50 chapters and a 2 year time skip before she does that.

Also, while I wouldn't be surprised if Yui comes back, I really don't see her place in the story anymore. She got pretty solidly rejected and hurt... so... uh.... not sure how she can come back from that. The only other person who even stands a glimmer of a chance is Honoka, and even that would only happen if Suzuka broke up with Yamato. Again.

i guess here's my take

i wouldn't be suprised if suzuka apologizes for the slap... and about how she just can't seem to "lose" it to yamato yet... and then another 50 chapters of lengthy lovey dovey....
