I agree with you there. There is also a difference between passively causing something and actively causing something. You would be actively killing some one, because you have made a conscious effort to end their life, you would be passively killing every one, because it would be a result of your not taking action.

Though this threat is awfully ambiguous, I would love to hear more on the situation before I decide what i would do. Is the human world ending, as in no more humans but the rest of the world continues, or is in the Earth itself that will die? If it is just humans that are to be wiped out, I think I would say, let it end, but if it was the whole Earth I'd probably go with self sacrifice. I mean, I'm not a very useful person, and outside of a couple of friends and about 5 family members, I don't think I would be terrible missed. I have no dreams, no goals, and no particular attachments to anything, so I guess I wouldn't really mind.

Actually, I didn't mean to offend your logic. I was surprised but I also did think your logic made sense. In a funny sort of way, but I do think you have a point. ^_^

That depends. If its a peaceful death, then I won't mind taking the person's place and die. As long as it doesn't hurt.

If it's a painful death, I'd definitely let the world end.

It should not be left up to me personally, 'cause if I was the sacrifice there's no way in hell I'm going alone. So why would I sellout one for the greater good of many(whoever determines the"greater good" 😀 )
