Star Trek VS. Star Wars

Star Trek. I enjoyed watching the Next Generation as a kid. Aside from light saber battles and an ass-kicking green little man, I never really like the Star Wars films. The story's not bad, but the bland acting for the entire series (aside from maybe Liam Neeson as Qui-Gon) really kills it for me.

Star Wars for me, for a lot of reasons, but one of the big ones for me that you might not agree with is that is really worn. Think about it, in Star Trek the ship is always, always pristine at the start of every episode. The millennium falcon looks like a flying pile of scrap, people live in it, it has a history the entire universe is old and has a story. In Star Trek the only reason things are dirty and used is if it adds something to the immediate story.
