so, i was hoping to find some titles for the forbidden love kind of relationship
like romeo and juliet kind of love, except it's a yaoi/shonen-ai!
it can be anything, like
the family is enemies to eachother
parents do not approve their relationship
the enviroment does not approve gay relationship
they are people of different social standing
police and thief/mafia relationship
nobility and servant relationship
as per example, Ai no Kusabi, even though it's not a manga.....
boy i wish it came out as a manga

I don't know if this fits with what you want but you should read ch1 of
Mitsumete Itai that is about a married guy and his affair with a younger man
and Subarashii Shitsuren in which the 3 stories are about "forbidden love"
especially ch1 and ch3
Both are from the same author and have bittersweet endings so i don't know if you would like them XD
so...good luck!
oh yeah...i just remember, if you want something like police/thief you should try Missing Code, although i think things happened too fast and is kind of surreal(what manga isn't?) but maybe it helps (:

Tsurugi to Kiri by Kuku Hayate - I should note that I paid for this, but honestly, it's the best five bucks I've ever spent on yaoi because I loved everything about this story. It's about two rival ninja/assassins who end up falling in love. There's a little bit of conflict because of their clan origins - thus the drama tag, but I wouldn't say that it was too heavily dramatic. You knew they were going to end up together etc.
Ayashi no Kimi no Koiwazurai also by the same manga-ka, and this time there's a social gap between the two foxes. However, it's really fluffy though, the social gap is an issue for the uke, but it's not really one for the seme. There's also this cute illustration of their kids too, soooo cute!
I'm a huge fan of her chibi artwork too, they're so cute and comical.

Mitsuyaku fits.
Un Carnet de Bal has the difference in social status, but the complications come from a different cause.

My favorite forbidden love type shounen ai is Haikei, Niisan-sama
Love between brothers. It contains incest
As for the status differences, the only ones I remember are
Kayashimashi no Yuuga na Seikatsu
Beast & Feast mobster and detective
Ouji to Joujin - brothers where one of them is a prince- scratch that, he's an heir
Binetsu Kakumei -master servant

I can't believe, nobody mentioned Yuuutsu na Asa yet for social status difference. Also Kagen no Tsukiyo no Monogatari (side-pairing).
