Suuurureee. No one can not be good at least at pissing 1 person off.
Also, I dislike Texas as well. It gives me an oppressive feeling, as if the land is trying to push everything down, including myself. Maybe it's because I've been surrounded my mountains my entire life and can't deal with flat places.
Does the walker choose the path, or the path the walker?
@ahoaho: Okay, so what do we have in common (besides the obvious interest in manga)?
@Dragonfiremule: No, I'm serious. I don't get on people's bad sides. If I do, it's because they make unfounded assumptions (I dress "emo", so they think I just cut my wrists and cry all day, etc.). In terms of Texas, I like the flatness. Then again, we were born in two entirely separate regions, so I can understand your logic.
@Snoopycool: Damn. Oh well. You win some, you lose some. =]

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre thing
is one of the reasons why I don't like Texas
...when compared to the other states.
I dunno. :] I guess I'm just harbor
some prejudice feelings. haha
@ahoaho: Wait, I knew that. SHUT UP. =]
@moca: You forgot about the UT Tower shooting as well in 1960-something.

Indeed, indeed, no hard feelings. Read Doubt and Bio Meat. (just thought I'd sneak that in there)
And I'm surprised no one's mentioning Bush as the reason they don't like Texas... I always kinda liked the fact that we have so many horror movies. Horror is one of the greatest things in the history of things.

I love horror movies,
especially this nice
one called Shutter.
It's coming out in march I think,
but it was adapted from Thailand.
I just have issues with Leatherface. ;DDD
@AT: No comment.
@Dragonfiremule: Thank you, sir! To be honest, I just started getting into manga, since I don't watch that much anime anymore (about an hour a week), and I like reading (hence the major).
@SnoopyCool: LOL, yeah, I can't believe that slipped everybody's mind. Oh well, Dubya's term is ending soon, so everyone can breathe easy again..we hope. LOL, I remember when he was governor...and when they still showed Wishbone on PBS. Good times, good times.

I'm a miss. -Nods- Don't worry about getting confused about it. Every single person on this forum did/still thinks I'm a guy.
Anyhow, for more suggestions, I suggest you read..
Ares
Gokusen
Beserk
Deadman Wonderland
Goth
Uzumaki
and...
Death Note =D I'm pretty sure everyone on this planet has read Death Note, but I thought I should suggest it anyway. =D

To add to that list, you should read anything I've ever translated and anything by Urasawa Naoki.
And Wishbone was the shiznit.
@Dragonfiremule: Oh Lawd, I'm so sorry! But going back to your message, I've watched the J-Drama of Gokusen, and I've watched the Death Note anime, if that counts for anything.
What genre do these mangas fall under, by the way? Also, out of all the ones I haven't seen/read, which one is your favorite? I find that reading a piece that is recommended highly by another person is never dissappointing.
@SnoopyCool: The way he stared at the camera gave me nightmares. Those deep, black, SOULLESS eyes.

Its ok. As I said, normally everyone mistakes me for a boy on the internet.
They all fall under either Horror or Action, normally both.
Out of all of them, the ones I most Highly recommend are Claymore, BioMeat: Nectar, Parasyte and Uzumaki , although all of them are really good.

Nice! I never got around to watching Claymore, now that I think about it. I think I'll try Parasyte first.
