| Unbelievably awesome! by jamesalfred on December 27th, 2009, 4:52am |

I planned to read this manga just for fun. But what do we have here? I'm stuck with it till the end, unconsciously spending my time for a continuous 4 hours! Truly an interesting genre, the first one I've read, and also the best one I think. It describes the situations clearly, and just when you thought the author won't have the explanation for the current situation, surprisingly he has. Very, very interesting, and promisingly will give you a satisfaction. Recommended to read.
PS: Currently waiting for "El El" to be completed. Survival horror is my new favorite genre now..

| Great Series by raptorfalcon on October 16th, 2009, 12:25pm |

This is the first manga of this kind that I have actually enjoyed. I think it really illustrates mankind's behavior and the lengths we would go to achieve our goals.
Must read for everyone.. not just fans of the "holocaust" type mangas. |

| Really good survival manga by jackblack901 on May 9th, 2009, 6:59pm |

Even the title is quite werid, this manga has a typical survival story, it's a seem like a zombie roaming story and It collects all the good point of this kind of survival story in its plot. The storyline simply perfect, I think The art is not really good but is good enough for this manga. Really dense character development and quite fun at some point. Overall it's not really great manga but it's the best for its genre.

| I guess this is what they call finding a diamond in the rough by XileDragon on January 26th, 2009, 6:31am |

The title sounds weird. The description is vague and uninteresting. Even the volume covers are so-so.
But don't let that fool you, because sci-fi/post-apocalyptic doesn't get much better than this. This manga is classified in the horror genre, but a more accurate description would be that it simply utilizes horror to amplify the intensity of its action-packed story.
In fact, despite being 12 volumes long, BM really seems much shorter because it is so intense throughout. Tired of reading all the pointless crap in between story arcs that so often fill up shounen mangas? Welcome to Bio-Meat. When the action's over, you get a time leap, and the action starts all over again, and this is while keeping a satisfying amount of character interaction and evolution throughout. Friggin' awesome.

Survival manga don't get any better than this and i read my share aready. The story is that really unquie but it hold its own over the other survival mangas i have seen. Charater development is great, plot is awesome, ending satifying, and overrall it's just pure fun to read.
I maybe saying the same thing like the other users who commented on this manga, but i completey recommend anyone starting this series, you won't regret it.

Very good manga, much better than i expected. Somehow reminds me of Kiseijuu. The art is not excellent but still above average I would stay. A very interesting story with good characters.

| it was tough... by Romashk on January 4th, 2009, 11:03pm |

Good story and interesting plot... Had to read it in chunks though, but I'm glad I finished it. There was a lot of stuff to be depressed about(people sacrifices, destruction and etc.), but I never lost hope for a happy ending(If thats what I may call it)... |

| Best survival manga evar by metamike on January 3rd, 2009, 1:00pm |

Would've literally gotten a 10/10, 100%, A+, only if it had a bit more Romance sprinkled throughout the story.
Otherwise, it's perfect. Ah, also, just fyi, this manga is a lot more "psychological" than it is shounen in my opinion. |

| OH MY GOOOOOD by eliwoodx12 on December 26th, 2008, 12:03am |

The last line in the manga XP
It was a wild ride with a lot of insane stuff, all the people who deserve death get it but even those who you think would live end up biting it...all in all it was very enjoyable.

| Horror genre, without having to tell you its horror. by SleeperJack on December 17th, 2008, 1:31am |

A favorite series of mine for the past few months.
This little gem does a good job of keeping the reader interested in the plot and its characters. You get to see how this horror starts and expands (along with how the characters develop through the leaps in years) without having to get bored with nonsense chapters usually placed in shounen series.
There is not alot of focus on the characters themselves, but this is done with an artistic twist. Instead of explicitly stating the relationships of the characters through dialogue and character specific scenes, the mangaka shows through the actions of the characters their relationships and how the ordeals have shaped them into the people they are.
