Hard to explain question...

So like, for example. You have this 5 million year old book with the name of the (alien) author clearly written on it. And it's not really a book but some rock that tells the story to you telepathically. You want to get this book written and published and make money off of it. Where would YOUR name go? Clearly you can't just say "yeah I wrote this book", when you kind of did WRITE it. But yeeaaahh...
Random as hell question but I was thinking about random stuff and just came upon this issue... What do?

Hmmm, put your name as editor and keep the original author name?

I would probably use the "alien's" name as a pen name. So my name would only be known to the publishers, and such.
Afterwards I would seek professional help, because I got a story from a tablet telepathically.
Yes yes, I know I make longwinded comments, but that's just me >.<
I should proof read my comments more, but I won't...
So keep in mind I'm filled with typos
