Thx gan17 & ahoaho, that should build up a nice playlist of reggae to keep me going with new music for a few days 😀

I'm on a punk/post-hardcore trip at the moment....

Currently listening to my old At the Drive-in albums.... so hopefully something with similar energy/feel.

Any suggestions?...

How about some Fugazi and Alexisonfire? Maybe some Hatebreed.

If you are digging into some old school hardcore, try some doom/sludge metal.

If I think of anything else later, I'll be back.

Fugazi, eh.... I've only got 2 albums (Kill Taker and Instrument Soundtrack).... I think they're at my mum's place (another country).... I heard they released a box-set a few years back.... Any good? I'm heading to HMV tomorrow.

Hatebreed??.... hear the name a lot.... will do some wiki searchin.

Not sure bout the doom/sludge metal, though..... Haven't been into metal in a while... dunno if I can stomach the modern stuff.

If you know something with an experimental vibe like Mars Volta (De-loused) .... I won't mind either.... actually, anything high-energy and a bit trippy would be fine... regardless of genre.... something similar to Sonic Youth would be good too.

Currently listening to Invisible Lantern (old Screaming Trees).... something like that would work as well.

Sorry.... but I think I've strayed off my initial request. Forgive me.

Thanx aho.

Really liked tracks 4 and 6, I think.

You really picked something on the fringe of my interest. I'm not really a post hardcore person, as I prefer old school hardcore.

And as far as doom/sludge check this out and get back to me http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sO7VP34n2Ps

You can also try some Rapcore, like Downset and Hed Pe.

It's pretty fringe for me as well.... that's why I'm asking for suggestions.

Sorry... a bit too nihilistic for me, at the moment.... I've grown old, my good man.
Loved the intro, though... reminds me of a Porcupine tree song.

Hot Cross I think is something you'd enjoy. Maybe some Dag Nasty.

I'm not looking for any particular genre, but an album style. I'm looking for albums where the transition between songs is seemless, or close too it...weird I know...

So any suggestions?
