Who do u think is most likely to join the crew after the time skip, sadly its safe to assume that handcock is out of the poll, and id like jimbei to join but i think hed probably be protecting fishman island so right now my moneys on caimi.

I am hoping that in the 2 year skip caimi may have met jimbei and learned fishman karate or possibly jewelry bonney cause she was captured by the marines and from what akioji said i dont think she is going to prison. so maybe they break her out or something.

Luffy does. He said he wanted a crew of 10 (Including himself) before he actually starts searching for One Piece. And since they only have 9 now, that means that there's gonna be one last new crew member coming in.

I think I also remember Luffy saying he wanted a crew of 10 people, so I do think there's going to be one more crew member. However, I do not think it will be someone we already know. Every character we've been introduced to already has their own thing going on, except maybe Perona, but we have no clue what she's been up to during the time skip. Plus, she doesn't seem to be a good fit with the crew, but I won't complain if she does become the 10th member because I'm confident Oda will do it well.

In the end, I think it will be some new character met in the new world. The more important question should be, what role will this member play? Every character plays a key role in the crew (captain, second in command, navigator, sniper, cook, doctor, etc.). What would be the 10th member's role?

to those that said perona i personally love her character but its not gonna happen she has no dreams or goals and every SH member has one also shes weak in comparison to others and has no talents that would help the crew out.

Imo its more likely luffy would forge alliances from now on rather than actual nakama. similar to how whitebeards setup worked with the many fleets that came to whitebeards aid. They can remain a small crew storywise but call on friends when they require. They've already gained an alliance with hancocks crew.

Starter of Controversy.

It's possible with Perona - she was on the same island as Zoro and Mihawk when they were training, and that could serve as motivation for becoming stronger herself. Though, I don't find it that likely that she joins. Oda-sensei likes variety, and having a gothic lolita ghost girl on board would lessen the impact of a skeleton crew member.
