What is your favorite zombie manga, or which do you find is the best. (Yes, sometimes you're favorite isn't what you find to be the best).

For me my favorite would be Escape from High-School Girls.
As for the best it would have to be Sankarea I find the story very interesting, and it has some cute elements in it too >.< Yes, so far this is the best zombie manga I've read.

Sankarea would be my second favorites ever since I've read I am a Hero This manga is purely amazing in case you have a thing 4 gore, survival-horror, tragedy and so on but no fan service 4 you here sadly

I view zombies in mangas to be nothing more than stand ins for generic mooks or blatantly contrived excuses for the author to kill off side characters. (If you pay attention at how much in-story time passes, its fucking pathetic how quickly people are killed off in zombie stories to say nothing of HOW they're killed.)

Read Escape from High-School Girls some time ago, was quite interesting, but I'm not too much a fan of Douman's works (though I usually like weird stuff).

Overall best would be Sankarea, glad I read this long before the anime was aired.

Read Apocalypse no Toride not too long ago (would've read it earlier if I had realized earlier who the author was 🤣 ), probably the best zombie manga I've read dealing with a zombie apocalypse.

Will check out I am a Hero, when I find the time to.

I was about to say "Escape from high school girls"! It's the only zombie story I remember liking, actually. Another zombie story from the same author is the one-shot in Nickelodeon, chapter 27.

I would have to say High School of the Dead as well. I never really read any other zombies series. There was one but I don't recall the name to it, so I would have to say this one.
