M.U.G.E.N. is easily one of the greatest games ever made. It's a game that you can build from the ground up, with anyone that you want. It's a game with TOTAL FREEDOM IN EVERY PART OF IT. People who say that it sucks or who say that it's unbalanced pretty much suck at following simple instructions, because there are lots of characters made for the game on the net that are balanced and fair. My little brother was 8 when I first found it and he was able to make and play his own M.U.G.E.N. games.

To sum it up, if there are unbalanced characters, it makes the game unbalanced. It's as simple as that.

But doesn't that mean that it's the person's CHOICE to make it unbalanced? Like I said before, this is a game where you can control every aspect of it, and there are characters everywhere on the net that are balanced and fair and they can add them. You don't have to add anyone that's broken.
I don't think that people should be complaining about it being unbalanced when it's a game that lets them do anything they want, and they willingly decide to put unbalanced characters in it. Besides, if they find out that a character they've just downloaded and put in the game is broken, they can take them out as easily as they can put them in.

Yes, but who's stopping from a troll to keep them?
Of course, you can have a balanced set, but then...there would be a bunch of different versions - kinda hard to discuss about the actual game other than the characters :\
I've got to admit though, it's not a bad engine. 😉

Even a troll knows that they can take the character out.They would troll M.U.G.E.N. just to get a reaction out of people who should know about how to make it balanced The only people who would fall for the trolling are people who don't know about it, or people who just started using it.
And with the different versions that people come out with, they can take out the characters they think are broken and replace them with a balanced character. Or if they know a bit about editing sprites and codes, they can change the character from being broken to being balanced.
