Lol. Forums can only retain my attention for a certain amount of time, and then I get bored and ditch it or forget about it completely.
This forum is still on trial, because I do get bored a few times, but it keeps my attention, probably because of the releases and lists. XD

I am a very active member in two forums:
Vkforum and MUforum.
Both of them are special in some ways.

I am more emotionally attached to the people in the Vkforum. I'm a frequent spammer there and I always get into trouble with the mods! XDD But I enjoyed my time when I was there...My postcount there is THREE TIMES the amount of my postcount in MUforum.

But Vkforum is not as active as MUforum. MU ROCKS because I can discuss LOADS of interesting things..even different mangas and meet loads of different people. Eventhough I do make friends with some of the forumers here, I am not as emotionally attached to them when compared to my vkfriends. well, you are special in your own ways. =)

I agree. This place is where I have actually conversations, and actually know most of the users. I have a couple other forums I regular, but this one is defiantly by far the best.

Honestly, MU. I've never been to a forum with such a large amount of active users who are not idiots/snobs/rude. The community is very open and friendly. So far, the best forum I've ever been on.

This place probably is... I mean it's a niche where people with similar niche's meet. So far I have yet to see a outragous E-battle comprised of 13 year olds yet.

It's a nice mature, understanding community which pretty much everyone knows their place. I think it's top notch.

Atleast its better than most anime-centric forums. Most are filled with illiterate bastard children. There are a lot of young posters here, but they don't seem to have a brain deficiency that allows them five letters a runon. They also seem to have a fairly decent grasp of the medium; h-material in particular. Which makes me weary of a lot of things, but that's a whole other bag of worms I'm not willing to dump out.

Although maybe its because this is a manga forum and not an anime forum that there are actual literate people here since all they do is read and understand how infuriating txtspeak truly is. I still say the Megatokyo Forums are the best though.

It's practically the exact opposite of here. There's an incredibly steep learning curve there. The idiot tolerance is razor thin. One poor soul recently learned the hard way that even if you follow the rules of the place, although a good way to keep from getting banned won't help you when the flames start up. Frankly he was an idiot for trying to defend his done to death thread rather than enjoying himself in some other section of the forums. Its a big place and there are a lot of people who wouldn't have flamed him

Of course it's the best! Lols. I don't really go on any others. It definitely helps that they offer updates here and aren't just a forum.

A big turn off for me is a forum where a mod abuses/bash/kick members all around. It,s important to have someone who can do that when necessary but too much of it is abuse. I,ve seen forums where the mods were the trolls. It's something that I didnt see here yet. The decisions that I,ve seen here have been fair and explained clearly.

I like the list feature, the update list and many other things but like I said, the forum here stays a good place to lurk... and I like to lurk.
