that's a horrible truth, sadly...most shoujo manga are becoming the yuri sort, in my eyes, because the only way you can tell between a female and a male being, is whether one has chest or not..it's rediculous how authors of shoujo manga are making the male characters as much feminine as real female, although that usually only occurs in gender bender & comedy series....in most popular shoujo series like fruit basket or good morning call, you can only tell a male from a female by their hair...every characters seem to have the same face structure, which keeps reminding me of clones....what happened to the manly drawing style for male characters?

Well least its easier on the eyes. Compared to looking a bulky masculine guys i would rather look at a guy that looks more like a girl than the actual girls in the manga. But i guess thats just my point of view.

Anyone read Princess Princess? Seems to me they are actually promoting homosexuality and cross dressing in single sex schools..........That is one creepy manga.....

I haven't read it, but I read a chapter of one where there were a bunch of girls that looked like guys and dressed like guys and were the "princes" of their school, and then there was this boy who dressed in skirts and looked like a girl that wanted to hang out with them or something. I was really confused o.o (yes, I know my description itself doesn't make sense)

I was wondering the same thing too.. =/ I see a lot of guys, which is fine, too. I bet there are many girls in Baka-updates, they probably don't go on the forum. Oh well.

I was just at a math competition with my friends (yes, I got up at 7 on a saturday for math...) & there were about 3 guys to every girl. I totally bombed the competion, though. Maybe because I spent too much time watching the ouran anime & reading manga & myspacing so I got 6 hrs of sleep o.o

Generally, people who take steroids to improve their body have low self esteem and a nasty personality. But that's generally speaking of course. Of course those prince charming types are over confidence with a big ego. So it's like they are equal in personality. In this aspect, we should rephrase the question by making all variable constant: Who would you choose steroid taking monkey looking hairy muscle head or prince charming. Assuming that they have the same personality. Same good personality.

ares6... why would I chose between two guys? I'm a guy, remember, I'm not interested in "choosing" either of them...
But if It's about who is cooler, or who I would want to have as friend.. well nothing on earth would make not want to have them both at the same time as friends... or to find them both cool. (Since they are supposed to have the same good personality).
Manga characters wise, you were talking about steroid taking monkeys... I suppose that means guys like Guts (Berserk); you'd have a hard time to find any character in any manga that come even close to how cool that guy is...
And prince charming... you where probably talking about a guy like those you see in any shoujo... yeah Guts is better... way better.

You know that in this same thread, you actually quoted the post where I said that I was a guy, I didn't think that'd surprise you...
And It's true, people judge others by their apperance a lot, but I don't... I don't judge the girls by their looks, so I will certainly not judge the guys by their looks. (I'm not saying that looks don't matter to me, that will be a big lie, but that I don't focus on that more than I should)
