can Naruto be considered harem?

Hell NO.

Lack of actual multiple opposite gender love interests doesn't qualify the series anywhere near the harem type. There is also NO romance plot between the main characters and their opposite gender either, so there's another horrible failure.

Now, the real question,
Can Naruto be considered yaoi/shonen ai?

Naruto's been longing after Sasuke for how long, and Sasuke has always had a thing for itachi...not to mention all the other male on male action we've been getting in this series.....hmmm
