Replace "anime" with "j-dorama" and #4 fits me pretty well. (There are some anime that I enjoy, but I really don't watch all that much.)

I only watched a few animes. they take so long to watch, thats why I started reading manga in the first place. Its faster, and theres usually more of it that in the anime. and there seems to be more shoujo manga than anime.

I'm between a 1 and 3, since I just download a couple of series with good ratings at a time. I'm pretty picky with what I watch nowadays (I don't watch many anime adaptations anymore since they're generally a waste of time and hard drive space).

Till I have interest in something I would go as far as possible therefore options from 1 to 6 are involved to some extent. 7 ... probably not, 8 ... I'll keep it as an open option. For the poll - option 3.
