Because crunchyroll is the devil. It eats anime and craps nasty FLV files (or at least that's the popular position 🤣 ) Personally I've never really used crunchyroll, but I take issue with most streaming-video sites, mainly b/c of high bandwidth usage and low quality. Also, a lot of fansubbing groups take serious issue with people posting their releases on streaming-video sites, mainly b/c of the decreased quality, but partly also b/c of a decrease in name recognition.

EDIT: Also, if you have the connection speed to watch streaming video, you shouldn't have any problems downloading. Trust me, it's worth it.

Yeah, they do have bad quality but downloading takes too long for me. I've downloaded some stuff I wanted to watch but wasn't available on crunchyroll
