I went to the Junior Prom and didn't enjoy it, so I opted to hang out with some friends instead of going to the Senior Ball. It was the best decision for me and I don't regret not going.

i went to my boy friends senior prom instead. I regretted it until i heard that my schools prom was bad. DJ was bad and the speakers wouldnt work half way through the night, and they messed up the senior glasses.
For my junior prom i took my friend that had dropped out of school. That wold have been his senior prom. He spent the whole time catching up with old school friends and ignoring me. I spent most of the time sitting by myself while my friends danced with their boyfriends.

Yes, but it was a terrible decision lol considering the opportunity costs with money, it wasn't worth it. The dinner sucked, the dance floor was hot and small, there were only very boring activities.

Junior prom:
Good news: I went with a friend I liked from another highschool.
Bad news: His prom was the same night as mine, and we tried to split between them.
Good news: We did manage to get to both proms.
Bad news: We went to his first, and he didn't bother to find out how to drive between them in advance, so we didn't get to mine until after 11pm (mostly by luck since I had done search on how to get to it but didn't know the area so well), and most of my friends had already left for after-prom parties.

Senior prom:
Invited an ex-boyfriend kouhai to go with me. I spent most of the night with my elbows in front of his shoulder-blades to keep him from kissing me because I wasn't interested in dating him anymore. (And he was fully aware of that before accepting.) Don't get me wrong though - this night was infinitely more enjoyable than my junior prom, and I did still like him as a friend a lot. We didn't spend the whole night like that. =)

Nop. Although I'm still thinking if to go or not...since I'm not going with a date, and some of my friends aren't going... Which kinda sucks. >__>

I'd go if I were you. Worst that can happen is a boring night, best is a great night. Or you can just spend the night going to parties - some of my friends did that and even though I think I had a better night, they were several hundred dollars richer than me laugh

I went and we did a limo and everything. I just went with some friends and it was a lot more fun than I expected. It was seriously one of the highlights of my senior year. We were suppose to go to a club afterwords, but everyone was a bum and decided to go home.
