Madarame got pwned cause he wouldn't go Bankai. Of course. The arrancar punching komamura away was a nice little trick to put the battle back into Ikkaku's hands. Next chapter is probably just Ikkaku getting over his need to keep his bankai a secret.

If that "Shinten" stuff that Izuru put on Ayasegawa's cheek is what I think it is (And I'm hoping it's not), then there will be SO many plot holes coming out from that event, that it'll mess the whole story for me.

And why is it called shinten anyway? Shinten can either mean "Expansion, Progress, or Confidential" depending on how you use it. So do you think this might be a hint at something? 😕

I highly doubt that punch away Komamura was to bring Ikkaku back. I think that the fact that the chapter emphasized on the size of the arcannar was to bring in captain komamaura and his bankai since Komanaura's bankai is merely a bigger version of himself. Im expecting to see the fight between the giants which should be entertaining since my favorite bankai is Komanmura's

Damn, do thee chapters seems short. Not a lot happened, but it was good to see Komamura and Iba step in; they've always been characters I've liked. It's kind of odd, how the other three arancar pretty much sucked, but this one can force Ikakku to the floor and just send Komamura flying like that. I suppose that was Barragan's plan, to put one strong guy in with the weak ones, that way at least one pillar would break.

Anyway, I guess all I can do is look forward to how this fight goes. I kinda hope Komamura gets back in there for the fight. It'd be far more interesting then another Ikakku fight.

Ikkaku wasn't even using his bankai cause he didn't want to reveal it thats why he got wtfpwned. I also doubt this is going to be the captain's fight since this is probaby where Ikkaku gets over using his bankai in secret as previously mentioned. Captains are for Espada only 😀

yeah i can't help but agree with this. i honestly would hate to find that a Captain had to be deployed for a mere Fraccion.

I'd also like to see Ikkaku go use his Bankai but having Komamura go up against the Fraccion is still interesting.

It would prove that there really are some strong Arrancars, every previous one was just uberly weak.

hmm i dunno. i mean i can understand what your getting at, but honestly i don't like the idea of a Fraccion being on par with a Captain when an Espada isn't. if he was so strong to begin with wouldn't it have made more sense for him to be one in the first place.

Hmm... You got a point there dude, If a Fraccion would be stronger than an actual Espada, it would be even weirder.

that's why i feel that the Captain's shouldn't be making any moves yet, at best let Iba handle him. cause like i said if he was strong enough to fight a Captain head on, then the whole system on making the Espada's is really out of whack.
