Some people didn't want to believe that Yuki agreed to have sex w/ Touru so this chapter might come across as a shock to them and/or a splash of cold water to the face. They would rather it was out of her control even if it means her being raped. There are people who even after chapter 11 doubted she had sex. Some of the theories were just silly. Like the ones with her being gang raped or cheated on. It was really obvious though and chapter 66 did not surprise me. It only confirmed what I already knew. I kind of hope it's revealed Touru was tricked as well somehow and she gets back w/ Touru for a short while or ends up w/ him just so I can see the full of rage reactions. It could still fit the title. Utsumi learns what love really is and helps the girl he loves get her good ending. 🤣

It's just a matter of marketing. There is no inherent content value, demographics aren't genres. So it's perfectly legitimate so long as the publisher, well, publishes it. That's why mangaka have editors.

that's true especially Ginen Shounen that one had a lot more impact than KNIM which did not really have that feeling like you got punched even though you saw it coming though for GE I do not know how people were surprised when it was pretty much shown in chapter 11

Meh, while Gelatin Boy and KNIM were pretty surprising, I'd say Onani Master Kurosawa is the one that felt like a hardcore punch to the gut. One of the few manga I have raged on.

I agree about the flaw in Onani Master Kurosawa that nearly ruins it. I can see a hot woman choosing the nice but nerdy guy over the hero, but that's beside the point. The rejected guy was the HERO of that manga, and was also a guy who was in desperate need of companionship. It's a mean thing to do to the readers to leave him to flounder on for so long. All that floundering became boring, too.

As for this manga, I'm quitting at Chapter 61, where the hero girl has yet again misunderstood something she saw and whipsawed the hero back to "Let's just be friends". Sure, that could happen. But in this case it's just one reversal too many for me. These mangaka and publishers are incredibly manipulative. They'll mess up any story, no matter how good, to string the thing out longer and sell more magazines. "Ichigo 100%" was a similar case.

And I agree with this earlier post:

"After having read so many mangas I can say without a doubt that mangakas LOVE stupid main characters. Ultimately, if they were smarter, it wouldn't take them 30 volumes to get laid!"
