my dad was one of those people who said that the computer would never catch on. teaching him how to use one had plenty of facepalm moments.
"Hip-hop was set out in the dark. They used to do it out in the park"
Whenever my friends BLOW IT when I give them alley-oop to get the hook-up with some female. And when they blow it, they say something so dumb it makes me look dumb.

When I look around my classroom, and see that this is the future of society.
im not to worried about future society AP kids will lead us through
AP kids are the most facepalm inducing individuals. Lack of ability to communicate, no common sense, and very little social skills.
I'd rather be led by the captain of the football team than some of those damned AP kids.
Well you want to more what is more sad? I'm in University level courses. 😔

A couple of foot ball guys (I don't know who the captain was) were in some of my AP classes. They were all pretty intelligent.
And I stand by the fact that Socratic Seminars will force any AP kid to interact socially with others.

Whenever someone asks what time it was and the clock's right there in front of them.
One time when I taught my little cousin math....she didn't get anything.
Another time when my friend asked me in the movie theater. "Why's it getting darker?"
/face palm.

Girl: You didn't know you wear glasses? I thought you wore contacts!
Me: /facepalm...if i have contacts, more than likely, i have glasses.

Some of my worst ones involve keys. I always used to get out of my car after locking the doors only to remember as the door slams shut that my keys are still sitting in the passenger seat. I also used to live in a building with electronic key cards, I think I lost count of the times I stepped out of my room to get something only to dive back at the door realizing I didn't have my key. The ones I hate the most are when you go to the vending machine to get something then pat yourself down and realize you forgot your wallet.
But anyway, this reminded me of my favorite facepalm image:
