White Chapel, The Devil Wears Prada, Bring Me Horizon, and all those other similar bands. That's not music. It's like listening to a bunch bears being castrated. I'd rather listen to Taylor Swift over that screaming shit. They all the sound the same too. And I sound like a prepubescent brat, but whatever.

Totally agree with the Miley Cyrus, Jonas brothers, etc.

The only one that I could stand from that bunch was Taylor Swift none

I also dislike Dir En Grey. No offense, but quite frankly, they scare me.

Dir en Grey are amazing mad

No they aren't.

different opinions, I guess

Dream Theater... And I love prog metal, but they're just so... Fake.

Lady Gaga and all the others that have to be naked on stage to grab people's attention aren't even worth mentioning.

I despise Lady Gaga. I wanted to like her--I mean, she's so out there that it's gotta be for art's sake, right? She was a piano prodigy as a child, so she's gotta know something about music, right? She spent a long time studying Andy Warhol and the glam scene of the 1970s, so she's got to have a lot of musical integrity, right?

Wrong on all counts. In listening to her songs and watching her perform, I can't find a single trace of her superior musicality in comparison to someone like Britney Spears. If I didn't already know her background, I'd never believe that she actually knows anything at all about music and is in any way different than Britney Spears. And really, that's just sad. Instead of the piano prodigy she once was, what we now have is a woman whose videos all look like soft core porn, who is one of the worst (if not THE worst) dancers in all of pop music today (her dance routines are utterly painful to watch for their dumbed-down simplicity), and whose lyrics are completely idiotic, even by pop music standards. I've heard it argued that everything she does is tongue-in-cheek, that she's actually making fun pop music, but I have a hard time actually believing that. If that's the case, then somewhere along the line, she became the thing she was ridiculing and is just as disposable as any other pop star.

Jonas brothers.
Really without their instruments they'd be useless. :l

All idols-singers, Madonna, Britney Spears, rap. And everything that sounds the same. Everything that NRJ or MTV plays, mainstream shit.

Korean-Pop, Japanese-Pop, Taiwanese-Pop whatever Asian pop group that relies on pretty faces and synthesisers to get popular.

As long as they sound good with synthesizers, I don't see the problem with them being popular.
Also, sometimes a synthesizer is used even when the singer's voice is great.
For example SUPERCELL debuted with a vocaloid album, which gained them popularity. They then released a single without the vocaloid and Nagi (singer of the band) actually sounds awesome.
Can't judge a book by its cover cool

I second this, although I do like some pop songs, I hate all pop artists as a whole. Rap is just disgusting to me both for its sound and lyrics.

Did anyone say Miley Cyrus yet? I can't stand her music at all. also Bob Dylan, Nickelback (and all who sound like him!) and Three Days Grace. I have to give the last band credit though, they do have a few good songs, but I really don't like the vocals at all.

^ lol, I know right. Actually I can't stand K-pop in general. Don't understand why some other J-rock fans can like them D:

And Paramore. I hate Paramore.
