The so called pop-folk music in my country, it will be best if all of the singers could just cease to exist

"Country" music in any way, shape, or form, along with any, for lack of a better term, POP stars.

For those that know what Disney is, I abhor it.

The majority of the Cantopop of today's generation.

All look no talent, whether it's singing OR dancing.

Worst of all, they do both at the same time.

Dave Matthews Band
Counting Crows (I'll never be able to forget how they mutilated Big Yellow Taxi)
Fergie (I haven't heard any good songs by her, but Big Girls Don't Cry was especially terrible)
Gwen Stefani (some of her songs were okay or at least catchy, but the rest are garbage, and Harajuku Girls was just horrendous)

You're Bulgarian, right?
And yeah, they should just vaporize.

1.All the crap that's spewing out of my radio. Especially "What'd You Say" by whoever and Tik-Tok by "Ke$ha". Yes, that's how you write it. Tacky, much.
2. Wonder Girls (Hate the band, not the members)
3. Taylor Swift (Eh, her songs are decent. She's a nice person though.)
4. Self-worshipping rappers. NO, I don't want to be like you. Ever.
5. Jonas Brother -- MY GAWD are they awful.

lol, I know right. Actually I can't stand K-pop in general. Don't understand why some other J-rock fans can like them D:

Don't mash all the bands together. While there are some atrocious groups (SNSD, Wonder Girls, etc.) some bands actually have talent: CSJH, 2NE1, Big Bang, and my personal favorite DBSK (who can actually sing. Very well.)

30h!3 - sexist pieces of crap, i cannot stand how young girls are falling for them, even if a song has a good beat, if they are telling you something offensive you shouldn't just shrug it off!

Lady Gaga and all the others that have to be naked on stage to grab people's attention aren't even worth mentioning.

I despise Lady Gaga. I wanted to like her--I mean, she's so out there that it's gotta be for art's sake, right? She was a piano prodigy as a child, so she's gotta know something about music, right? She spent a long time studying Andy Warhol and the glam scene of the 1970s, so she's got to have a lot of musical integrity, right?

Wrong on all counts. In listening to her songs and watching her perform, I can't find a single trace of her superior musicality in comparison to someone like Britney Spears. If I didn't already know her background, I'd never believe that she actually knows anything at all about music and is in any way different than Britney Spears. And really, that's just sad. Instead of the piano prodigy she once was, what we now have is a woman whose videos all look like soft core porn, who is one of the worst (if not THE worst) dancers in all of pop music today (her dance routines are utterly painful to watch for their dumbed-down simplicity), and whose lyrics are completely idiotic, even by pop music standards. I've heard it argued that everything she does is tongue-in-cheek, that she's actually making fun pop music, but I have a hard time actually believing that. If that's the case, then somewhere along the line, she became the thing she was ridiculing and is just as disposable as any other pop star.

Amen about that. I was rather shocked reading about her "music education". And showmanship? Please, the asian acts have been doing that since forever. I agree that it might be tongue-in-cheek, but after a while, you realise that that is only a few rare moments.

That aside, there are trickles of nicely done "art" (never knew that she studied warhol) as well as very brilliant cinematography in her MVs. Bad Romance took my breathe away, first time because i was totally dumbfounded by the content, second because i'm too amazed by the cinematography. Makes me feel so annoyed whenever i rewatch it.

I hate Nirvana but mostly just Kurt Cobain. He is honestly just not that good a guitarist.
Also i don't like imitation power metal acts like Power Quest or Steel Attack
And like American black or death metal. Americans can stick to what they created (I don't know what that is but if it is pop music, they still suck) and leave metal to Europe.

I mean, I'm no screhttp://www.mangaupdates.com/images/banner_bottom_919.jpgaming Lady Gaga fan, but even I can admit, Speechless and Brown Eyes are actually really good songs.

I'll be honest though, if I hear Bad Romance one more time I might go insane.

that would be punk, indie rock, grunge and lo-fi, the only music that will ever truly matter.

I used to like Kurt when I was a kid, but now I think he wouldn't be worshipped that much if it hadn't been for his suicide, still like him a bit though. And I haven't listened to any American black metal bands. To me black metal means Norway (I don't listen to black much 😀 ). But what do you mean by 'leave metal to Europe'? Black & death only or every genre? I think there're many decent American metal bands 🙂

Now I can't let that slide.
I can understand saying Cobain isn't the best guitarist ever, but damnit he is a great rock singer/songwriter. The range of that guy's voice is incredible going from soft clean vocals in rape me to shrill and distorted in Tourette's, which is perfect for grunge.

I do agree with you on the metal issue. Though I think more specifically you should leave metal to the Scandinavians and maybe the Germans. Anything outside of those regions is generally crap.

I would also like to voice my distate for pretty much any pop music creating persona.
The whole genre is crap. Also trance and the like.
Though I have a specific dislike for lady gaga. Simply because of her undue popularity. But I guess that's pretty much how pop music works innit.

hmmm, frist and foremost punk was more like a joint with australia UK and US, but the one's that made punk what it is today are the brits, and their punk bands were far superior then anyonbe else's.
on the metal note I have to say that there are good bands in the US but they kinda led that "old metal" routine with those weird hair styles and black leather pants and stuff like that XD....and there's a few good one's in Australia as well, but the best one's for heavy metal are Germany imo, their lng is similar to eng but not similar enough to understand so it's kinda hard to break through but they really have good bands there, and I have to agree on the norway part, but for me the Gods of metal will always be Iron Maiden

and to add on robbit you forgot to add Rap XDDDD

and about Nirvana, I think everyone has a time in their puberty when they adore Nirvana, but they soon grow out of that and they just become a band with one good album and Unplugged

but yeah, have to agree with the majority even though it's still stupidly popular any kind of pop and that new kinbd of "glam" rap that's been out for a while(from eminem, to snoop dog and those idiots), anyt5hing else that's good from classical music and every kind of rock that suits me, to techno and remixes and aannything that I enjoy ^^
