Hiatus mangas on MU

What exactly does MU consider hiatus mangas? I've seen several mangas with a hiatus status and completely scanlated on the page. To me on hiatus is the same as ongoing. If it was on hiatus and then dropped after many years, well it is now dropped and no longer on hiatus. I have seen some mangas come out of hiatus after 7+ years, which again it would no longer be on hiatus; it would change back to ongoing.
My point do I (and others) change the completely scanlated from yes to no on a pages with a hiatus status? ( when they say yes to completely scanlated that is).
- Sidenote I wasn't sure where to make this thread, so if in the wrong section sorry.
Yes yes, I know I make longwinded comments, but that's just me >.<
I should proof read my comments more, but I won't...

We actually don't have an official stance on this. Please remember that all series info can be updated by regular users

sigh I was hoping there was some official stance on this. Either yes all hiatus mangas are to be consider like ongoing until news of it dropped. Or if a manga has been on hiatus for less than 3 years it is considered ongoing, if over 3 years an unofficial dropped.
Guess it more I feel, she feels, he feels it should be this way, and thus changed. Like a battle of tug of war.
Ok, thanks for the reply lambchopsil
