Drowning. Its always seemed the most peaceful way to me.

You'll have an ugly corpse though, all bloated and blob-y.

Neh, if the sharks don't get me first, then the crabs will have their way with me. Leave just the skeleton behind.

But they might spread bits of your body parts
all around the place.
i have heard that the feeling of drowning is one of the worst actually. but i don't know. kinda hard to find out(well not technically hard but...) 😔

Technically, in Catholic/Christian teachings, taking your own life also means going to hell. 🙄

This.

Though I am pretty sure this only applies to Catholics, rather than Protestants, in the Christian religions. Though I'm sure there are some random protestant branches that also follow that.

It also applies to Muslims.

I guess it applies to all religion. What kind of religion would allow people to commit suicide? Unless if it's cultist groups like the Peoples' temple and the Heaven's Gate...

@btw Scyfon
just wondering, are you a muslim malay?more specifically malaysian?

I would choose one of two ways to die.

 1. Death by driving fast car. Preferably a viper or lamborghini.
 2. (My favorite way) Death by many beautiful women. (i'm sure you all understand what I mean).

stop thinking about death, enjoy your life !!!!

Thinking about death and enjoying one's life is in no way a contradiction. I'd even say thinking about death promotes the joy of being alive. If one thinks about one's death, one also thinks about how enevitable and unpredictable it is and one will want to live life the way that is least regrettable. You might have heard of the expression "memento mori" which expresses these thoughts.

In that situation I think I would go with burning myself. I heard it is the most pure way to die.

yeah well, of course i know the senstence, but as for me memento mori means only to be aware of the death that will surely come and that's it, not to think about it all the time... we should just know that our live will end so we'll appreciate it more, but that's it... does it really matter are we burned or freezed to death? i guess the most important thing is to live a life we won't regret and won't be ashamed of, and so get to heaven... and suicide is a really cowardly act as for me.
we should be happy with the lives we've got and appreciate it !
i don't really care if i will be smashed by a giant meteor or will fall off a cliff. i just want to live as long as possible and enjoy it !

A shot straight to the head.

Drowning/Burning to me, would be the worst ways to die. XD

If you are unaware of what's going on, its rather peaceful; otherwise its an extremely frightening experience. I've had a few close calls, which is why I didn't select this option.

Pick the #12...

I want to at least, ya know, entertain my non-existing 'soul' in a place where everyone is talking about as if they already experienced it 😀

I would fight. And if I would go to hell doing that, then that's fine with me.
At least I would be able to live with myself (not really, seeing that I would be death, but you get the idea)

i agree, and since i am Catholic, it doesn't matter what i choose. kill myself by taking overdose and go to hell or be taken to hell. So i would fight, for the same reason as paikiej
😀

Or religions that don't believe in hell. Though it's still a big sin, it's not against the religion in general as compared to catholics.

Anyway, I've been off topic in this whole thread so just speaking on how to die, the best way is probably overdose on sleeping pills, you just sleep and that's it...drugs that get you high sometimes hurt, I saw a video once where a kid overdosed on something and started having a hard time breathing until he died. Then the psychological torture of holding a gun to your head is pretty scary IMO that I wouldn't be able to pull the trigger.

You're right about that, but I do think the occasional death-related thread helps to at least lessen the distance many feel between death and daily life and thus prepares e.g. for the sudden death of a friend or relative, which could otherwise lead to a psychological trauma more easily.

Under normal circumstances it sure is. But in the described scenario it seems to me that death is imminent no matter what you do, so look at it as a doomed person's last freedom. And if it was done to prevent the demons from snatching another soul, that makes it seem almost honorable.
